Meet the Setter Construction Team
Wesley Smith
Founder/Co-owner
Wesley Smith has been in the construction industry for the past 12 years. He has always found construction interesting, an ever-changing industry that poses challenges and truly engages the mind in real life problem-solving. Wesley studied Architecture in college and has found his true calling. He founded Setter Construction because he wanted to bring back the true craftsmen mentality that carpenters/contractors used to be known for. He hopes to have a positive impact in the contractor world, “by showing and teaching others that we have a responsibility to do the best work we can, each and every day.”
Austin Hauslohner
Co-owner
Born and raised in southwest Virginia, Austin Hauslohner has over 18 years of construction industry experience. Taking an interest in carpentry at an early age, Austin began learning the carpentry trade before graduating high school. He then went on to obtain two trade degrees in Construction Technology during his college years. After completion of college, Austin spent many years in construction material distribution in both sales and management. Austin also focused on construction design and drafting throughout his career. Having worked as a carpenter, project manager, and retail sales manager, Austin brings a diverse skill set to the team at Setter Construction.
Eli Bradley
Project Manager
Growing up in Craig County, Virginia, Eli Bradley worked with his father’s company beginning at a young age. After high school, he began working as a machinist for six years, during which, Eli continued working in rough carpentry. He has 15 years carpentry experience and has obtained a variety of skills; specifically, he has developed a specialty with timber framing. Eli is excited to begin his journey with Setter Construction, and hopes to further expand on his craft for years to come.
Jackson Pringer
Foreman
A lifelong Virginia resident, Jackson has over 6 years of construction, carpentry, and tile experience. At age 16, he got his first carpentry job. His carpentry classes at the local vocational school cemented his passion for the trade, and he worked with a tile and interior finishing company from high school graduation until his completion of community college. He moved down to Blacksburg to expand his career while his girlfriend attends Virginia Tech. He is grateful for all the new experiences and professional development he has gained with Setter Construction.
Landon Linkous
Carpenter
Born in Virginia, Landon Linkous graduated from Pulaski County High School. There, he went through the Career and Technology Education program where he learned about welding, carpentry, and electricity. He is excited to learn from the Setter Construction crew and become a better carpenter and trades person.
